Solder Sleeves are a one-piece soldering and insulating system for terminating electrical joints such as wires to wires, wires to contacts and wires to shields.
Each part consists of a heat shrinkable sleeve containing a precisely engineered perform of fluxed solder and sealing inserts so that when heated ensure a controlled and exacting termination. Upon the application of heat the outer sleeve shrinks and the thermoplastic sealing inserts melt (if applicable) so as to encapsulate the termination.
In one single operation, the solder flows, and is controlled so that the result is
a perfectly soldered, insulated, strain relieved, and environmentally protected termination.
